Free WhatsApp QR Code Generator
Turn your WhatsApp number into a QR code. Whoever scans it lands straight in the chat, with your message already typed, and never has to save your number first.
Include the country code. Spaces and symbols are removed automatically.
This text appears already written in the chat, ready to send.
Your QR code will appear here
How to use it
Enter the full number
Always include the country code, for example +34 for Spain or +1 for the United States. Without it WhatsApp cannot resolve the number.
Write the opening message
Optional, but it removes the awkward first line. Something like Hi, I saw your poster and I would like more information works well.
Check the link and download
The generated wa.me link is shown above the code so you can verify it, then download the format you need.
Real examples
Where a WhatsApp QR code converts best.
Shop windows and posters
Passers by can ask about opening hours or availability without walking in.
Product packaging
Support and warranty questions land in a chat instead of a form nobody fills in.
Flyers and market stalls
The prefilled message tells you exactly which campaign the lead came from.
Best practices
- Use a WhatsApp Business number if this is for a company. Personal accounts have no labels, no away message and no quick replies.
- Keep the prefilled message under a line or two. Long text makes the code denser and people delete it anyway.
- Add a short instruction next to the code, such as Scan to chat with us. A bare QR code gets far fewer scans.
- Include a different prefilled message per location or campaign so you can tell where each conversation started.
Limitations
- The number is visible to anyone who scans or decodes the image. Do not use a private number on public material.
- If the person does not have WhatsApp installed, the link opens the web version and asks them to install it.
- The code is static: changing the number or the message means generating and reprinting a new one.
Privacy
The number and the message are turned into a wa.me link and a QR code inside your browser. We do not send them anywhere, we do not store them and we have no access to your WhatsApp account.
